teens & School-based services

As a school-based therapist, I have now served over 80 students within the local school system. I have worked with students with diagnoses that range from ADHD to OCD to PTSD to GAD. I have worked with families to help their student heal from previous trauma and grief, navigate recent life transitions, and to develop the skill of resiliency that carries them throughout life.

What is school-based therapy?
School-based therapy is when I work with your student’s school to complete their therapy sessions during school hours. I visit your student’s school and use a private office space within the school building in order to complete their therapy session. This method allows the student to not miss as much school or after school engagements due to not needing to travel to and from a therapy office for their appointment. It is also easier for the client’s parent/guardian to not have to miss work or other important life circumstances.
